Categories and admission
- Founding
- The six members who established SBPD. They form the Founders' Council, on a permanent basis.
- Full
- Members of the permanent body, with voting rights when in active status. The term is three years, renewable.
- Collaborating
- Invited for specific demands, in an advisory capacity, for the period defined in the invitation.
- Honorary
- Recognized for relevant technical contribution.
New members join by invitation of the Founding Members or by proposal of Full Members, preferably with a technical justification. Admission of a Full Member is approved by simple majority at a deliberative meeting.
